BJMMA offers Mixed Martial Arts for the everyday man, woman and kid who want to train for the love of the sport, and all the benefits that you get from it.
BJMMA is run by Bobby and Jeni Karagiannidis and was established in the year 2000, but we have been teaching for over 20 years and you will have to search far and wide to find a more established gym with more qualified trainers.
Brief
We were tasked to update the existing website to be mobile friendly. The customer also wanted to be able to add new content themselves and update minor details as the need arises.
Our solution
Our shared vision for the new website was to give it an underground fight-club look, but still keep it fresh and easy to navigate.
BJMMA already had some great content including a promotional video that we gave some prominence on the home screen as well as the contact page. We kept the logo colour scheme in the rest of the site and decided to use the red as an accent colour.
The home page is now dominated by a slider with high quality images and powerful calls to action. When scrolling down, you see more details about the service offering making the home page a good summary of the entire site. An interactive class schedule is available with all classes listed on the home page and only relevant classes on the individual class pages.
We combined the current photo’s with some high quality stock photo’s to get the desired effect with multiple layers and scrolling animations.
Another exciting addition was the news page. Using WordPress as content management system BJMMA can now keep their website current with news, promotions and events.
